Durham Cathedral once again hosted The Pulse – our 10th big youth event. Last Sunday young people came from across the diocese with their youth or church leaders for an evening of dance music, worship and prayer (and of course the normal hot chocolate and cookies!) to this incredible building. This time we welcomed Transform DJs from Denver, USA, together with Sean Pickering from Ignite in Sunderland. Tim Cullingworth and his team as always provided all the amazing sound, lights and effects.

It was wonderful to see so many young people coming together and engaging one moment with the loud and then in the quiet with the candles and space to pray. One young person wrote during the evening, ‘Dear God, thank you for welcoming me into your light and Jesus Yes.’ Another wrote, ‘Thank you for every opportunity that has been given to me through Christ and these Pulse events – Amen.’

Thank you to all the team for their hard work to put on these events. The Pulse is back at the Cathedral on Sunday March 29th 2020 6.45-8.30pm. Hope to see you then!
