NHS Employers is also running a campaign aiming to drive a permissive use to social media in the NHS called #NHSEngage, which I covered at the Institute of Internal Comms Conference in Bristol.

All this work has had important ramifications. First the number of my followers on Twitter increased! Clearly a boon to my ego but more importantly they include a growing number of chief executives and directors.
