B13Q0197.jpgOver Six hundred young people from Church schools and youth groups around the North East of England descended on The Durham Centre, Belmont Industrial Estate, Durham for the annual Go Large fun event organised by the Anglican Diocese of Durham. Organised by the youth ministry team of Durham Diocese, the event this year celebrated its 13 year. The young people, many from Christian youth groups, enjoyed events including graffiti art, live music and skateboarding at the Durham Centre over three and a half hours. Headlining at this years event was musician evangelist and christian communicator Chip Kendall. Known throughout the christian music scene for his unique blend pumping sounds, rapp and faith based messages, Chip opened the event on Friday whipped-up the amassed durham youth audience for an evening of fun and Christian fellowship. Youth leader Debbie Mahafey, youth worker from Tudhoe St David said: “It was a chance to get together as a community and share things in a fun environment.”  [AFG_gallery id=’26’]
